Sad Start to 2011

Our poor Mona has been crying and so sad because one of the kitties in the cages just got adopted and had to be put to sleep. I didn't understand what that meant and why Mona was crying because I love sleeping myself. Then when Guy explained it to me I felt really bad for the kitty, it's owner and all the nice people who clean the cages. Me and Guy didn't know this kitty because he came long after we got adopted, but still it's just awful and we hate seeing our sweet Mona sad. She didn't even work on her new business with Grandma this weekend. Anyway me and Guy decided not to tell little Pumpkin because she's already bummed about Tom Selleck being so mean to her all of the time. Had a nice meowathon with her today--first me and then Guy. Guy is really going all out to let her know she has friends even if they don't live in the same house with her.
