The Evening After

We had such a jam packed day yesterday that me and Guy slept for most of today. It was so great to see Grandma again and Lotto the puppy dog spent most of the afternoon with us while the adults had their party in the other room (Tom Selleck and Pumpkin did not come, though). Lotto is feeling much better now that he has his massages. He hates this holiday because the fireworks really scare him. Actually I think they're kind of pretty (I can see some from our bay window) but I don't like the scary noise they make either. Grandma brought us some homemade treats (love you, Grandma!) but we really didn't get to play with her at all--she was busy talking to all of the adults at the party. Anyway I'm still pretty tired from all of the festivities yesterday (and being awakened by fireworks a good bit of the night) so must get my beauty rest.
