Fabulous Feline Fete

Well the big day finally arrived! Everything could not have been more perfect. Mike took Guy to have a flea bath so everyone could get ready for the big surprise birthday bash. Could Guy have been anymore pissy about having to go when I didn't? I think not. Anyway once they were out of the house, Mona and I were rushing around each doing what needed to be done (Mona getting all the food and drinks, me working on getting his yarn ball presents assembled). Then guests started arriving in the late afternoon. Everyone came to honor the cat of the hour--the puppy named Lotto with his owners (and I didn't hiss-so proud of myself), some other friends of Mike and Mona and our beloved Grandma, of course. But here's the best--finally got to meet Tom Selleck and his owners in person. After some mandatory hissing on both sides, Tom S. and I showed our respective gifts for Guy to each other. Tom Selleck made Guy a little blanket from all of his old torn up blankies. He was really impressed with my gift of different colored yarns rolled together in different shapes so Guy could have such fun chasing and unwinding them. More about the actual party tomorrow cuz I'm pretty worn out after the big day. Guy is still awake playing with everything, though. Happy Birthday BCF, Guy!
