Party On, Guy

Guy is still meowing to anyone who will listen about his great surprise birthday party on Saturday. Here's the recap of what happened: Once Mike pulled in the drive with his newly deflea-bathed kitten, Guy, everyone hid behind furniture. So Mike came in and let Guy out of the cage and all of a sudden we all started yelling "Surprise" and "Happy Birthday, Guy" (ok not really original but surprise birthday parties aren't supposed to stick to tradition). Guy was stunned at first and then started running really fast all around the room checking everything and everyone out. He almost knocked over one of Mona's favorite antique lamps! Then he spotted me, Tom Selleck and the puppy named Lotto and ran over to us and started to play fight. Tom Selleck hissed and the poor puppy didn't know what to do but then we all started playing and had great fun. Mona had food and drinks for the humans and special treats for all of us furry critters that were just outstanding. Grandma picked the birthday cat up and gave him a big kiss and Guy purred like I don't know what. Then came present time and while everyone's gifts were loved to death by my BCF, he loved my yarn ball creation the absolute best of all. Once all of the guests left me and Guy stayed up really late playing with toys and meowing about what a great party it was. Guy felt bad that he didn't pay much attention to Grandma, but I assured him she would understand. Mike and Mona throw the bestest surprise birthday parties ever!
