Grandma had a great time on her date today. They went to lunch and then
walked in some park near where she lives. Mona was very excited when she got off the phone and was telling Mike every teeny detail about the date. Mike was more interested in watching some game on television so guess what?
Mona actually started telling me and Guy all about the date. She assumed we wouldn't understand what she was saying for some odd reason. Humans are so lame sometimes. Grandma is still completely committed to her business and men come second so Mona isn't sure if this guy will be anything more than a friend for Grandma, but it sounds like he is really hot for her (Mona's words). Hopefully that means he likes her because humans have a way of describing things sometimes that make it sound like the exact opposite of what it really means. Guy hates being hot so he thinks it might mean something bad. But I could tell by Mona's voice that it doesn't mean that at all. Way to go Grandma! Men are hot for you!
