That's Why The Grandma's Not A Tramp

Still a lot of discussion in our little household about Grandma's man friend asking her to go on a trip with him. Mike said any man worth his salt does not ask a woman he's only gone out with three times to travel with him. Well that comment really threw me and Guy for a loop. Why would a man be worth salt? Salt and pepper are on the dinner table every night so it can't be expensive. Again, humans are so bizarre with their language that it could mean almost anything and might not have anything to do with the salt on the table. Even Tom Selleck didn't get it so our only other hope is Lotto the puppy dog because he's very wise and just might be able to explain it to us.
