Do Not Forsake Us, Kittie Owners

Mona came home from volunteering at the cages and said three of my friends who were adopted were brought back to the cages because their owners said they didn't get along with their other cats. Please, kittie owners, you have to understand that we don't like change and we need to get used to another cat's smell before we can adjust. Don't just throw us together in the same room and expect everything to be great. Keep us separate for about a week and give each of us toys etc. of the other cat so we gradually get used to each other's scent. And once that happens, just put us together a little bit each day and be there with us to make sure it's cool. Believe me, we will get along but you have to do it right. Me and Guy are so bummed today and really feel for our friends who were returned. Hope Guy doesn't think Mike and Mona will do that to him because sometimes he seems a little insecure--probably because he lived on the streets for so long.
